Calendula cream is primarily used to treat skin age spots, diaper rash, eczema, skin irritations, bruises, burns and open wounds. Calendula improves neovascularization in tissue, or the growth of new tiny capillaries, which improves blood circulation and helps skin wounds heal. It increases the speed of tissue repair for open wounds as well as for tissue injuries such as sunburn. The cream base has a soothing effect on surrounding tissue to aid relief from itching or pain. Calendula cream has also been recommended to treat minor frostbite. Specific studies have not been done to validate these uses.

Radiation treatments for cancer can cause sores and dermatitis at the radiation site. Calendula cream has been used by patients to soothe and help heal these skin conditions. Clinical studies have not been done to verify this use of calendula cream, but according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, homeopathic doctors recommend its use for this type of topical application.

Calendula cream seems to have anti-inflammatory properties, and it may be used to soothe muscle aches, cramps and sprains. The cream may also be used to treat hemorrhoids, according to UMMC, although studies for its use as an anti-inflammatory treatment have not been conducted.

Wild-Crafted from the East Coast.

Granulated Irish Moss (Chrondus Crispus) from the wild shore of the east coast of Canada. Sun bleached in sea water and then dried. This brown irish moss is said to be more gelatinous than the white that has been bleached much longer.

To make Irish Moss Paste:

  1. Soak it overnight or longer and then rinse it well.
  2. Put about 1/2 a cup of the moss with about 1 1/4 cup water in the blender.
  3. Blend till it becomes a thick gelatinous consistency.
  4. Then squeeze it through a nutmilk bag.
  5. Place in glass bowl in refrigerator to set up. Irish moss paste will last in the refrigerator for a at least 10 days.

DōMatcha® is 100% authentic Japanese stone-ground green tea, directly from Kagoshima and Uji, Kyoto where Japanese matcha originated. Dō (pronounced ‘doh’) is the Japanese symbol for ‘way’ or ‘journey’. DōMatcha® means ‘The Way of Matcha’. 

DōMatcha® green tea is shade-grown and only the finest and youngest top leaves are chosen. Immediately after harvesting, the leaves are carefully steamed to prevent the enzymes from oxidizing, they are then placed in specially designed facilities at zero degrees to keep them fresh all year round. Before grinding the leaves into Matcha, all the rough fibers, such as stems and veins, are removed to reduce any bitter flavor. Some producers use not only lower grade leaves but also include stems and other rough fiber to get more volume and reduce the costs. Needless to say that these practices result in a Matcha that is a much lower quality product, less vibrant green, and leaves a bitter flavor. Once the leaves have been de-stemmed and de-veined, they are then slowly ground between traditional granite stones, guaranteeing maximum protection by breaking the fiber naturally without overheating and ‘burning’ the powder. Powdered green tea that is produced outside of Japan is turned into powder by using hot air pressure which destroys the natural structure and overheats the green tea leaves.

This matcha has a high nutritional value, including the unique properties of L-theanine and catechins (antioxidants). Scores 1384 on the ORAC test Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity.

This is premium Neem oil. Wild-crafted, cold pressed from carefully stored seeds* of the Neem tree. This oil is perfect for skin care, animal care & herbal use or as an agricultural spray. It is rich in all the liminoids and compounds that have earned Neem oil it's title as A Tree For Solving Global Problems. The oil is guaranteed free of aflatoxin* which is a fungus that can grow on poorly cleaned or stored seeds. It has a strong garlic/nutty aroma - unpleasant to some but loved by those who have experienced it's healing and protective powers.

NOTE-Neem Oil is mainly composed of glycerides of palmitin, stearin, and linolic acids. Neem Oil is similar to Palm Oil. Both oils deposit stearin at low temperatures and especially after they solidify. This process is repeated with each cycle of freezing and thawing. Neem Oil has a high wax content and therefore clouds at 16 C (60.8 F) and tends to solidify at 12 C (53.6 F). At temperatures below 5 C (41 F), Neem Oil is solid and on thawing will deposit stearin. This can be filtered out if needed. It is also normal to find creamy globules of fatty acid deposits in Neem Oil stored at room temperature. These will melt on thawing.

Ecologically cultivated, hand-picked & packed with extraordinary care. Dried Botija Olives are fermented first in a sea salt pond for 3+ months then rinsed, dried and seasoned.

Our pumpkin seed oil is made by Estyria in Austria who uses only the best Styrian pumpkin seeds, using gentle and traditional processes. They still work with open roasting pans. Their oil millers use their wealth of experience and finely tuned instinct to decide when the right moment for pressing has been reached.
